RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Independently plan, develop, execute, and complete different types of communications that effectively drives changes for our Operations Lines of Business. 
  • Ensure measurement and reporting on the success of the completion of communications delivery (tracking completion and evidence of such communications). 
  • Independently plan, develop, execute, and complete eLearning training materials that effectively drives processes, changes or business policies needs from any Oportun business group. 
  • Analyze data and evaluate the reception of communication/eLearning needs shared by our requesters. 
  • Maintain relationship and collaborate with key business leaders to understand what is needed for changes to land successfully. 
  • Participate in kick-off, schedule, one time or training meetings to obtain useful information in order to integrate it into a learning object development. 
  • Oversee, review, and share accurate information related to updates in project meetings. 
  • Follow instructional design development processes while creating and maintaining courses up to date. 
  • Manages the track of all types of projects, such as communications, eLearning’s, etc. 
  • Translation of materials/communications from Spanish to English and vice versa. 
  • Implement, update and adds valuable visual assets to our content library. 
  • Owns courses/media creation and enrollment within our LMS, as well as tracking completion reports. 
  • Create interactive and multimedia-rich e-learning modules that incorporate graphics, audio, video, and animations.4
  • Integrate quizzes, assessments, and interactive activities to enhance learner engagement and retention.
  • Test and trouble-shoot to ensure a great user experience.
  • Coordinate with team members, SME’s and stakeholders to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Be focused, present and punctual in each task and/or delivery. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must be bi-lingual (English and Spanish), with strong written and communication skills
  • Positive, effective communicator (verbal and written) with colleagues and stakeholders 
  • Demonstrate engagement and ability to serve, drive multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables. 
  • Ability to deal with challenging deadlines, while handling negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Training, Education, Graphic Design, Communication or business-related discipline required. 
  • Prior relevant (3+ years) experience with instructional design, content development, training, education, presentations, etc. 
  • Proficiency in eLearning Development Tools (Articulate Storyline is a must) 
  • Proficient in creation of interactivity through animations, triggers & layers, programming and coding (JavaScript knowledge preferred) 
  • Knowledge of Audio, Video and picture editing software (preferred Camtasia, Photoshop, Audition, Premiere) 
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) environments.
