POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical Senior Business Analyst who can drive fast learning loops and business ROI. The successful candidate will support business analysis requests, become the SME for Operations and Design, run, and interpret our experiments with clear focus on business outcomes. You’ll partner with our Operations Centers of Excellence to prioritize the highest‑ROI opportunities and help us serve our members better.

 

RESPONSIBILTIES

Business Analysis & Operational Performance

  • Drive analysis of operational performance across Member Operations, including originations, servicing, and collections, to uncover trends, friction points, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Operations leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities that improve efficiency, customer experience, and risk outcomes.
  • Build and enhance the Operations Management framework to systematically identify risks, surface opportunities, and design solutions that span across all areas of Member Operations.
  • Partner with Operations leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities that improve efficiency, customer experience, and risk outcomes.
  • Build robust analytical pipelines to systematically track KPIs and operational health.
  • Develop tools that democratize access to performance insights for frontline managers and executives.
  • Leverage advanced analytical methods (segmentation, time-series, causal inference) to sharpen operational decision-making.

 

Originations Analytics

  • Lead the originations analytics effort to inform strategy, optimize funnel performance, and support decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Credit Risk, Product, Marketing) to design and evaluate originations strategies that balance growth, risk, and member experience.
  • Develop monitoring routines and deep-dive analyses on funnel performance, channel effectiveness, and applicant behavior to surface actionable insights and opportunities.

 

 Experimentation & Testing Frameworks

  • Design and execute end-to-end testing frameworks to evaluate process changes, new technologies, and operational strategies.
  • Define hypotheses, establish test/control design, ensure operational integrity, and manage test execution with minimal disruption to frontline teams.
  • Develop monitoring dashboards and experiment catalogs that codify learnings into repeatable playbooks.
  • Ensure results are statistically sound, business-relevant, and directly tied to financial and operational KPIs.

 

Insights & Executive Communication

  • Translate complex data and operational outcomes into executive-ready narratives: what was tested, why, outcomes, incremental value, and recommended next steps.
  • Deliver comprehensive business reviews to cross-functional partners, highlighting key performance drivers and forward-looking opportunities.
  • Provide structured “decision memos” that clarify trade-offs, effect sizes, and strategic implications for leadership. Strategic Initiatives & Technology Adoption
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Product, Risk, Technology) to scope and deliver strategic initiatives that drive efficiency, growth, and resilience.
  • Support evaluation and adoption of new technologies (e.g., AI tools, process automation, telephony, agent-assist platforms) through rigorous pilot testing and performance measurement.
  • Build frameworks to accelerate “test-to-scale” velocity in Operations, ensuring faster learning cycles and more agile execution.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven 7 years of experience as a Business Strategy Analyst or in solving complex problems with data analysis tools, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Statistics, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Databricks and/or Spark.
  • Proficiency with data management, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Experience in running A/B tests or Difference-in-Difference analysis.
  • Experience valuating results with either Independent Mean differences, Proportions and /or Sequential testing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, storytelling with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
