Your Role

As O Positiv continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own two of our highest-performing channels – email and SMS – with the key objective of driving customer growth and retention. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our lifecycle marketing engines to become highly efficient, data-driven, and best-in-class. You will lead strategy and execution across the entire customer journey – from segmentation and messaging strategy to A/B testing, deployment, and performance analysis.

The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, with an exceptional track record in email and SMS marketing, a bias for action, and a keen awareness of customer behavior. You should be confident in using data to shape strategy, designing thoughtful experiments, and continuously optimizing for impact. You have a strong sense of ownership and are excited to set, meet, and exceed aggressive goals around our KPIs.

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager reports to the Head of Retention and will mentor marketing specialists to deliver against our organization’s goals. As the leader of customer lifecycle, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders in e-commerce, creative, product, and brand, to deliver impact.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own and oversee all lifecycle marketing plans for product launches and sales, leveraging historical learnings and fresh ideas to deliver high-performing campaigns in key moments.
  • Manage a comprehensive email and SMS marketing calendar. Prioritize content that drives measurable business impact.
  • Own channel performance metrics in flows, campaigns, list growth, and deliverability. Identify challenges early and solve them with independent critical thinking and first-principles reasoning.
  • Lead customer and list growth initiatives. Showcase thought leadership in segmentation strategy and continuous optimization.
  • Drive functional planning and weekly prioritization. Translate high-level goals into clear, actionable daily responsibilities for the team.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across creative, product, e-commerce, and brand to ensure collaboration on key initiatives.
  • Manage a robust testing strategy for lifecycle marketing campaigns, including experiment design, progress tracking, analysis, and synthesis.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing in a direct-to-consumer company with a strong digital presence.
    • Deep expertise in CRM platforms. Klaviyo experience is preferred.
    • Analytical and data-driven mindset. Able to independently understand, analyze, and present data, interpret results, and synthesize actionable insights to drive measurable impact.
    • Proven project management skills. Have track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and a strong bias for action.
    • Proficient in Excel and analytics tools (i.e.. Google Analytics)
    • Genuine passion for digital marketing, customer retention, and women’s health.    
  • Interpersonal:
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and functions.
    • Demonstrated team leadership, empathy, and ability to motivate and develop others.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of performance and accountability.

Hours and Compensation                                                                  

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $120,000-$150,000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

  • Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
