Your Role

The Planning Analyst is responsible for developing and executing SKU-level supply plans to support the retail channel, ensuring optimal inventory levels across retailers and 3PLs. This role analyzes sales and inventory data to drive forecasting adjustments, manage weeks-of-supply, and inform purchase order decisions.

This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Supply Planning and will work closely with the Operations and Retail teams.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, attentive to detail, adaptable and an effective communicator with an eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Develop and maintain SKU-level supply plans for retail channel
  • Partner with Ops to transfer inventory across 3PLs based on target weeks-of-supply and expiration
  • Analyze weekly sales and inventory reports and make suggestions for supply plan to optimize inventory in 3PL
  • Leverage Retail Supply Plan in monthly PO Placement process to ensure timely delivery of goods to 3PL
  • Contribute insights into Retail performance during monthly Retail forecast alignment meetings to ensure Retail channel is supported with the right amount of product at the right time
  • Manage PO placement of packaging used for retail-specific SKUs
  • Communicate changes to supply plan and any follow-up actions necessary to protect demand across retailers
  • Partner with Retail Sales and Finance teams to identify opportunities and risks in the demand plans by retailer
  • Prepare and distribute weekly reports on actuals vs forecast by retailer
  • Share recommendations to adjust retail demand forecast based on managing to target weeks-of-supply in stores
  • Track changes to assortment mix and door counts to minimize markdown exposure and facilitate seamless transition of strategies
  • Partner with Procurement team to coordinate and manage timeline to deliver feature materials to stores

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
    • 0-2 years of experience in Operations analysis, Supply Chain planning, or a similar role
    • Experience with Excel required
    • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Interpersonal:
    • Highly organized and skilled at note taking
    • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and receive feedback
    • Active listener who showcases clear, concise communication
    • Flexible and able to manage multiple projects at a time
    • Team player who can support cross-functional partners

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $68,000 - $90,000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

  • Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
