What you get to do:
As an SRE I Engineer, you'll be working with our DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams to "automate all the things" for our AWS deployment platform. You'll help support our growing product portfolio by:
- Developing and refining deployment patterns and tools for feature development teams,
focusing on technologies like Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, and Lambda on AWS. - Writing Terraform, YAML, and bash scripts to automate service and environment
deployments. - Enhancing observability of our tech stack through logs, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and
alerts, integrating these with CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot production issues and identify automation
opportunities. - Migrating legacy technologies and environments to EKS on fully automated platforms.
- Continuously improving observability and automation in production and other environments.
- Expanding your skills and helping teammates do the same. We have a strong focus on
internal training, with a budget for classes, conferences, and materials. - Working remotely (this is a US-based remote-capable position).
What you will bring to the team:
- 1+ years of experience with a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- 1+ years of experience with a container orchestrator (Kubernetes, ECS, Swarm).
- 1+ years of experience with an Infrastructure as Code/Configuration Management (IAC/CM) tool (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack).
- 1+ years of experience working in Linux environments.
- 1+ years of experience with a CI/CD tool (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc).
- 1+ years of experience with a logging/metrics/alerting tool (DataDog, Sumologic, FluentD, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
- Experience with scripting in Bash or similar languages.
- Experience with a non-Bash programming language (Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C#, C/C++).
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cameras-on team to promote a healthy remote work environment
- A drive for simplicity and building things well.
- Bonus points for experience with security scanning tools, AWS Multi-Region configurations, and Clumio.

Final offers are determined based on a myriad of factors including, but not limited to experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant business considerations. In addition to base pay, the total compensation package includes eligibility and potential for performance-based bonuses and equity grants dependent upon the role and job level.

Compensation Range:
$85,600 - $128,400 USD
