Why this opportunity? 

We’re looking for a Service Design Lead to join our design team working on our ESG platform. This is an opportunity to not only design a product that does tangible good in the world, but also to help build the systems and processes that will help us create the best product we can. The Role and Responsibilities

Design Team Responsibilities:

  • Advance a customer-centric, cross-channel vision that solves our customers’ problems and enables trust and satisfaction.
  • Map and maintain user journeys and customer lifecycles to visualize the integration of services and SaaS offerings.
  • Develop and refine service blueprints, journey maps, and frameworks to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Facilitate workshops to unearth new opportunities and co-design solutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Prototype and iterate on service and product experiences to validate concepts and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate across departments to align service design priorities with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Advocate for customer-centered design by integrating research, usability testing, and feedback into solutions.

Agile Production Team Responsibilities:

  • Create production designs for team-specific product work.
  • Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
  • Conduct feasibility reviews, research sessions, and usability testing and present findings.

Your Qualities and Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience as a UX or Service Designer on complex SaaS products or in consulting environments.
  • Proficiency in service design tools, including journey mapping and blueprinting.
  • Strong ability to synthesize insights into actionable frameworks that drive collaboration.
  • Skilled in creating prototypes, wireframes, and other design artifacts.
  • Effective communicator and facilitator, with experience leading workshops.
  • High standard of creativity, curiosity, and quality, with a mentoring mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing data-heavy applications in the Finance, Energy or Sustainability industries.
  • Prior experience in a startup environment.

Location: remote (US and Canada) with optional office in Boulder, Colorado

Position: Full-time

Salary: $134,000 - $157,000  plus bonus and option for equity
