Key Responsibilities
The Education Coordinator is responsible for performing a wide range of clerical tasks, such as various data entry, filing paperwork, and copying and updating documentation, as necessary. The Education Coordinator is also responsible for the compiling, updating, and dispensing of all applicable educational pieces to employees and facility partners. The Education Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and educational plans for all business lines.
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding, orientation, and offboarding for new hires, including, but not limited to: schedule creation, course assignment, scheduled presentations, transitioning new hires to a modified schedule, and releasing new hires from orientation.
- Oversee online training platform performance and communicate with platform representatives
- Maintains knowledge of current federal, state, and local regulations and standards of practice as well as changes to adhere to and ensure compliance with for each service line.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to operate computer equipment, Excel, Outlook, Word, Fax, and photocopy machines necessary
Must be discreet and maintain HIPAA and confidentiality in the workplace
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred
- 1 year of experience in an appropriate clerical setting preferred
