About the Role
As Director of Marketing, you'll be the architect of our brand presence and the driving force behind all marketing, communications, and digital strategy initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, you'll partner with executive leadership to position Optimal Care as a trusted, high-quality healthcare organization while leading integrated campaigns that fuel growth and engagement.
This is a high-impact leadership role where your creative vision, strategic thinking, and data-driven approach will shape how thousands of people experience our brand. You'll oversee everything from digital marketing and social media to internal communications, public relations, and sales enablement - building a cohesive brand story across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Leadership
- Ensure consistent brand identity, voice, and standards across all channels and platforms
- Lead brand storytelling initiatives that position Optimal Care as a healthcare leader
- Partner with executive leadership to align marketing strategy with organizational goals
- Oversee performance analytics and use data to continuously refine strategy and ROI
Digital Marketing & Web Excellence
- Direct comprehensive digital strategy including SEO, PPC, content marketing, and paid social
- Oversee website performance, user experience, and conversion optimization
- Lead marketing automation and customer journey mapping initiatives
- Monitor analytics and refine digital strategies to maximize reach and engagement
Integrated Campaign Management
- Develop and execute data-driven marketing campaigns aligned with growth objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives supporting key programs and service lines
- Oversee lead generation and customer engagement strategies
- Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and deliverables for successful execution
Social Media & Community Building
- Guide social media strategy across all platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging channels)
- Oversee content creation, community management, and paid social advertising
- Monitor trends and integrate innovative practices to boost performance
- Build partnerships and collaborations that expand reach and engagement
Internal Communications & Culture
- Develop internal communication strategies that align with Optimal Care's mission and values
- Oversee internal channels, platforms, and messaging to engage employees
- Support organizational change communications and crisis management
- Manage company store, office presentation standards, and employee engagement campaigns
External Communications & Public Relations
- Lead public relations strategy and media relations to strengthen brand reputation
- Oversee stakeholder and community engagement initiatives
- Guide executive communications and leadership messaging
- Partner with legal and compliance to ensure regulatory adherence
Sales Enablement
- Direct development of sales collateral that strengthens brand positioning
- Create materials that equip sales teams to effectively communicate our value
- Provide training and enablement programs for internal teams
- Support exhibit and convention strategies for lead generation
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 7-10+ years of progressive marketing experience
- 5-7 years specifically in healthcare marketing (hospitals, health systems, medical practices, pharmaceutical companies)
- Proven track record leading successful marketing teams and initiatives
Strongly Preferred:
- Master's degree
Essential Expertise:
- Ability to develop data-informed strategies that drive business results
- Outstanding copywriting skills across digital, brand, and executive communications
- Deep proficiency in SEO, PPC, content strategy, social media marketing, and paid advertising
- Expert with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and personalization
- Experience with budget oversight and ROI analysis
- Understanding of healthcare compliance, regulations, and industry dynamics

Work Environment
