Role Overview

As a Solutions Delivery Manager at Optimal Dynamics, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end (E2E) delivery lifecycle of our logistics solutions. You will ensure that projects are aligned with customer goals and executed seamlessly from initiation to adoption. This role requires a unique blend of expertise in project management, asset-based for-hire and dedicated fleet operations, optimization solutions, and customer engagement, enabling you to deliver high-impact solutions efficiently and effectively while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle for Optimal Dynamics solutions, including project initiation, planning, scope definition, scheduling, and resource allocation. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring clarity on timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities to facilitate smooth execution.
  2. Customer Goal Alignment: Engage with customers to understand their specific goals and requirements, ensuring that project objectives are aligned with their business outcomes. Communicate effectively with customers to manage expectations, provide updates, and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Solution Adoption and Integration: Lead the adoption process of OD solutions, working closely with customers to ensure a seamless integration into their existing workflows. Provide training and support to customers to enhance their understanding and utilization of the platform, maximizing the value derived from the solution.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to address challenges, share insights, and ensure successful project delivery. Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the implementation process.
  5. Effective Communication and Meetings: Organize and facilitate regular communication and status meetings with both customers and internal stakeholders to track project progress and address any emerging issues. Prepare and distribute project updates, reports, and documentation to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  6. Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within project delivery methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize data and feedback to refine delivery approaches and contribute to best practices within the Solutions Delivery team.
  7. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the project lifecycle, leveraging problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions. Address customer inquiries and challenges promptly, ensuring a positive experience and fostering strong relationships.
  8. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project performance against established metrics, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed. Report on project outcomes and customer satisfaction, contributing to the continuous improvement of solutions and delivery practices.

Education and/or Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics
  • 5+ years of experience in asset-based carrier operations, logistics, or FreightTech deployment, including consulting and implementation.
  • Experience working with Sr Level IT and Operations personalities
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to run multiple complex project simultaneously
  • Strong oral & written communication skills with advanced presentation abilities.
  • Strong ability to quickly build trust with different levels of management.
  • High level of initiative and hustle.
  • Able to work independently, as the role will not be based out of an office.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time

 

Pay Range

$130,000 - $170,000 USD
