Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Director of Business Development, partnering on strategy, execution, and growth initiatives in assigned regions

Lead and execute regional business development strategy aligned with company growth objectives

Identify, evaluate, and source acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and expansion opportunities in assigned regions

Oversee and guide sourcing efforts including networking, acquisition lead generation, strategic partnerships, industry events, and outreach initiatives

Manage Business Development Coordinators and/or team members, providing coaching and performance direction

Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and new market opportunities

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities to inform strategic decision-making

Own and optimize the Business Development Pipeline for assigned regions, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and forecasting

Present insights, progress updates, and recommendations to executive leadership
- 5+ years of experience in business development, healthcare growth strategy, sales leadership, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Proven track record of driving growth, partnerships, or acquisitions
- Experience leading teams or mentoring junior staff
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, including experience with due diligence and ROI analysis
- Advanced CRM experience and pipeline management expertise
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong project management and prioritization abilities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically
