The Role:

The Finance and Operations Manager will oversee financial operations, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making through detailed financial insights. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or Business Central), expertise in managing expense management tools such as Ramp, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This role will report to the CEO.

While this is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, you will have the opportunity to work remote primarily.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning
  • Support the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance. Report Key Performance Indicators at monthly management meetings. Policy Development and Maintenance
  • Draft, review, and update company policies and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance. Maintain an organized and accessible repository of policies in Confluence for company-wide use. Collaboration and Compliance
  • Work closely with Optimized Payments’ accounting firm to ensure accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit readiness. Act as a key point of contact for internal teams on financial operations and budget inquiries. Equity Management
  • Utilize Carta for managing equity plans, cap table administration, and ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with equity-related policies and reporting requirements. Supplier Invoicing Portals
  • Collaborate with suppliers using invoicing platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, and Bill.com to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA is a plus. 5+ years of experience in financial management or operations, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or Business Central) is required. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills. Proven track record of process improvement and financial system implementation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
