WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in the efficient operation of warehouse activities, including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This position ensures product accuracy, inventory integrity, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
CLASSIFICATION
Fulltime, Non-Exempt, Hourly
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Receive materials using a forklift or manual guidance.
- Pick, pack, label, and tag inventory for shipment.
- Stack and secure materials on pallets.
- Move materials to staging areas or load onto transport vehicles.
- Assist with physical inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Follow all operational and safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1–3 years of general warehouse experience; tile/stone industry experience is a plus.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good time management and communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is based in a warehouse setting and involves exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and moderate noise. The role frequently requires the use of forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Safety gear must be worn as required.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with shifts typically starting early in the morning. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
