BRANCH MANAGER
The Branch Manager oversees daily showroom operations, leads the sales team, ensures excellent customer service, and upholds company policies. This role is responsible for achieving sales goals, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a positive client experience.

This is a salaried position eligible for commission, with compensation structure to be discussed during the interview process
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the sales team by setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing support with high-profile clients and complex transactions.
- Train, coach, and evaluate staff to maintain high standards in client service and sales performance.
- Monitor sales activity and open orders; ensure proper CRM usage and follow-up on all customer interactions and quotes.
- Coordinate client visits, ensuring representatives are prepared with the appropriate materials and follow-up is conducted to maximize opportunities.
- Maintain showroom presentation and cleanliness, ensuring daily checklists and visual standards are met.
- Oversee front desk operations and ensure proper handling of calls, visitors, and sample shipments.
- Collaborate with operations teams to manage product displays, transfers, sample inventory, and delivery coordination.
- Address customer concerns professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Attend industry events to build relationships and generate new business.
- Enforce company policies on orders, pricing, returns, and customer service standards.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and general team support, including Saturday rotations and PTO coverage.
- Ensure branch has adequate supplies and maintains a client-ready environment.
- Provide input on monthly sales forecasting and branch performance metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5 years of sales experience in the stone or tile industry; supervisory or management experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in business or related field preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel to client sites or events.
- Ability to work Saturdays and extended hours as needed.
Work Environment
- Primarily showroom and office-based with occasional exposure to warehouse conditions (e.g., noise, dust, temperature variations).
- May engage with irate customers or handle issues in warehouse and customer-facing spaces.
- Interacts regularly with internal departments, clients, and vendors.
Physical Demands
- Regular use of computer, telephone, and standard office equipment.
- Periods of sitting, walking, or standing throughout the day.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of materials up to 20 lbs.
- Travel within the local region may be required for meetings, visits, or events.
WORK SCHEDULE
Standard work hours are typically between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. This position requires schedule flexibility, including availability to work some Saturdays and, occasionally, Sundays, based on business needs or special events.
