Surgeon Recruiter

Job Title: Surgeon Recruiter – Oral Surgery Partners

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to join our growing oral surgery practice. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top-tier oral surgeons. The ideal candidate will be experienced in healthcare recruiting, possess strong networking abilities, and have a passion for building high-performing clinical teams that deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operations to understand current and future hiring needs across all practice locations.
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for clinical and non-clinical positions, including oral surgeons, surgical assistants, and front office staff.
- Source and screen candidates using a variety of platforms, including job boards, professional networks, social media, and referrals.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate with hiring managers for final interviews and candidate evaluations.
- Manage job postings, applicant tracking systems, and communication throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to develop compelling employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
- Attend conferences, residency programs, and career fairs to network and promote the practice as an employer of choice.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience from application through onboarding.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in the healthcare or dental/oral surgery industry.
- Knowledge of oral surgeons, training, and credentialing requirements is a strong plus.
- Experience using Candidate Relationship Management(CRM) and recruitment platforms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple openings simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for events and recruiting efforts, as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience recruiting dental specialists (oral surgeons, periodontists, etc.)
- Familiarity with residency programs and dental school networks.
- Understanding of healthcare hiring compliance and credentialing processes.
