OrangeTwist is looking for a Public Relations & Social Media Specialist responsible for enhancing the organization’s brand image, building strong media relationships, and managing the company’s social media presence. This role involves developing communication strategies developing thoughtful organic social strategy, handling media inquiries and monitoring online conversations to support the company’s public image and marketing objectives.
Location: Remote (Location California or Texas)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Compensation: $60000+/salary (base on experience)
What You Will Do:
- Public Relations (PR)
- Develop and implement PR strategies to strengthen brand awareness and public perception.
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, speeches, and corporate announcements.
- Maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, bloggers, and media outlets.
- Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and public events.
- Monitor news coverage, prepare media reports, and track PR campaign performance.
- Manage crisis communication and support reputation management efforts.
- Social Media
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Manage social media calendars, trends, and campaigns aligned with marketing goals.
- Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments, and manage online community interactions.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience in PR, social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights).
