Real Estate Team Lead

Orchard is looking for a customer-focused, licensed and experienced Team Lead to help build our team in Washington DC/Northern Viriginia, which is launching in early 2025.  At Orchard, Team Leads partner with our customers to accomplish their real estate buying and selling goals in addition to coaching a team of 25-30 real estate agents to do the same. We provide high quality referrals, differentiated product offerings, and best-in-class training and support.  Recruit, support, and coach your team of agents to help customers accomplish their buying and selling goals, and earn a share of their production while being the face of Orchard in Washington DC/Northern Virginia.

Compensation Range: This is an indepedent contractor (1099) role and is a commission-only position. There is a guaranteed stipend during the ramp period as well.  The average full-time fully ramped Team Lead earns $120k-200k+ per year. There is no cap on earnings. 

We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:

  • An active and unrestricted Virginia real estate license and are located in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area
  • At least 5 years of active licensure with at least 3 years of experience in recruiting and managing the day-to-day activities of real estate agents.  A managing broker license is a plus.
  • A proven ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience while meeting or exceeding production targets
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coach a team, develop skills, and produce results
  • Strong communication skills to engage with customers and colleagues - both written and oral
