Senior Conversion Rate Analyst

The opportunity

As a Senior Conversion Rate Analyst, you will oversee the complete management of our clients' A/B testing deliverables. Your role will involve analysing various data sources to identify customer pain points, developing solutions, and formulating hypotheses for testing through experimentation platforms. This process will lead to actionable insights and enhanced outcomes for both clients and their customers. You will report to the Director of Data and Analytics and be part of the data and analytics team within Orchard’s broader strategy team.

Orchard Experience Team 

You will be part of the Orchard Experience Team. The traditional and the obvious doesn’t cut it for our experience team. We are an uncommon bunch made up of UX-ers, CX-ers, data planners, CRM planners and social media planners. We relentlessly seek to uncover insights from culture, people, behaviour, the economy, and product truths - combining this with our experience in digital communications to inform our strategies and campaigns. We seek to answer true business problems through an evidence-based approach and happily work with data, UX and CX to ensure our solutions are fit for Purpose.

Responsibilities:

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • You will lead our CRO initiatives by identifying customer pain points and developing test hypotheses and ideas. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing tests, as well as reporting on their outcomes.

Analytics Reporting and Insights

  • You will deliver regular reports and impactful insights that go beyond the data, providing a broader context to help clients address the "so what" factor. Your
  • insights will be actionable, clearly communicated, and ready for implementation by our team or the clients you support.

Strategy & Insights

  • You will generate strategic recommendations based on the data and insights you produce. These recommendations will drive direct actions on our clients’ platforms and inform broader initiatives that may require collaboration with UX and CRO teams.

Data Quality

  • You will ensure that data capture methods are well-documented and effectively communicated to developers. You’ll also have a solid understanding of data layer structures and the ability to QA tracking and test implementations.

Client and Stakeholder Presentations

  • You will have demonstrated experience in presenting insights and recommendations to clients and key stakeholders, effectively guiding them through the process.

Specific Experience Required:

  • 4 years + hands on experience within a/b testing platforms such as Optimizely, AB tasty, etc  
  • Facilitating and running ideation sessions to generate test hypothesis  
  • Leading the process of translating CRO requirements to UX, design and dev teams 
  • Expert in mining web analytics and customer data and translating into compelling narratives and presentations  
  • History of identifying success measures and defining the methods to evaluate 
  • Use of non-website analytics platforms to develop insights. For example, user testing and survey tools 
  • Creation and delivery of reports, and management of underlying data structures/backends and processes that enable them 
  • Understanding of custom tracking within website analytics platforms such as GA4 and the associated data models 

Essential Platform Experience:

  • Experimentation Platforms (e.g. Optimizely, AB tasty) 
  • Advanced Excel 
  • SQL driven platforms such as Google Big Query  
  • Google Analytics 4 or Adobe Analytics 
  • Looker Studio 
  • Other Analytics Tools (E.g. Hotjar, Segment) 
  • Google Tag Manager or Tealium 
  • Customer Data Platforms (E.g. Tealium, Optimizely, etc)
