ABOUT THE ORCHESTRA FINANCE TEAM
The Orchestra Finance Team oversees financial results and works with our teams on client finance, growth strategies and the overall financial health of the company. We are responsible for the successful integration with our new partner companies as well as any future acquisition activity.
We work with management and other key agency stakeholders to drive profitability and monitor key performance indicators. We are growing a team of experienced finance professionals, change agents, Excel masters and complex problem-solvers to collaborate cross-functionally to assess financial strategies, systems and processes in an effort to drive the full-cycle financial health of all our clients.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
As an Executive Vice President, Client Finance, you will take on a pivotal leadership role, steering financial strategy, operational excellence and client partnership initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will drive decision-making processes, ensure financial clarity and champion operational efficiencies to achieve the company’s financial goals.
This role reports directly to the Head of Finance and collaborates closely with the executive leadership team.
Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The Finance team is in-office at least 3 days per week.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
As the Executive Vice President, Client Finance, you will…
- Oversee, mentor and inspire a team of 12+ client finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth and high performance
- Champion collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices
- Lead the preparation and communication of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including forward-looking projections, performance commentary and strategic recommendations
- Partner with the Controller to ensure accurate and efficient month-end close processes
- Provide strategic guidance on key client account proposals and identify opportunities for financial optimization
- Conduct financial modeling to drive data-driven decision-making
- Lead financial integration efforts for newly acquired companies, ensuring alignment of reporting processes, ERP systems and organizational goals
- Develop and implement streamlined processes for onboarding financial systems and workflows from acquisitions
- Oversee ERP system enhancements to support comprehensive reporting and scalability
- Ensure seamless communication of financial data and processes across acquired and existing teams
- Spearhead the development and implementation of best practices for financial reporting, processes and ERP system upgrades
- Simplify financial workflows to enhance clarity and deliver actionable business insights
- Design and execute ad hoc financial reports to inform business leaders and support organizational growth
- Identify inefficiencies across accounts and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation, service levels and revenue generation
- Create and execute initiatives to mitigate business risks, ensuring improved visibility and control
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure financial processes align with client needs and organizational objectives
- Drive high-impact projects for the Head of Finance and CFO, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights that support growth and profitability
Essential skills:
- Proven expertise in financial accounting, including P&L management, balance sheet oversight and revenue recognition methodologies
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prepare and present financial insights to key stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team-building experience, with a commitment to mentorship and professional development
- Consulting mindset with exceptional client-service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships across internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial tools, along with experience using ERP platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Proven commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in leadership and team development
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Comfort with confidential information and maintaining discretion
Preferred skills:
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
- Experience with Intercompany work and managing different entity P&Ls

WORKING AT ORCHESTRA
Compensation philosophy: Orchestra offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.
Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $215,000-$250,000
Executive Vice Presidents are eligible for end of year bonuses based on firm, team and individual performance.
