ABOUT THIS ROLE
We’re seeking for a skilled integrated strategist who can define compelling brand visions and expertly connect insights through to powerful execution. Reporting to the SVP of Strategy, the Director, Integrated Strategy will play an essential role in developing clear, actionable positioning and fully integrated communication plans across earned, owned, and paid channels. You’ll collaborate closely with client leads, growth teams, and internal stakeholders, shaping cohesive and results-driven strategies tailored specifically to our clients’ goals.
This role is perfect for an agile strategist who excels at the intersection of brand, communications, and multichannel planning - and who ensures that Orchestra’s strategies not only sound insightful but deliver measurable impact.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
As the Director, Integrated Strategy you will…
- Own end-to-end strategic development, from initial research and insights to positioning, messaging, and comprehensive multichannel communications planning.
- Translate strategic insights into precise, prioritized action plans clearly aligned with client business objectives.
- Define compelling brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and narrative architectures in collaboration with creative and channel partners.
- Develop integrated communications strategies spanning earned media, social, partnerships, experiential, thought leadership, and digital, ensuring PR seamlessly supports broader brand objectives.
- Lead multi-agency collaboration to deliver integrated, cohesive, and efficiently executable strategies across diverse disciplines.
- Act as a strategic partner in new business pitches and growth opportunities, offering insights and tailored recommendations that strengthen our market positioning.
- Partner closely with the Insights team to ground all strategies in robust research, analytics, and performance data..
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 7–10 years in integrated strategy, brand strategy, or campaign roles within leading creative agencies, consultancies, or communications firms.
- Proven track record developing multichannel strategies that link brand positioning with effective communications across PR, earned media, social, digital, and experiential channels.
- Exceptional ability to drive collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams (brand, PR, insights, creative, channels) ensuring alignment and excellence in execution.
- Strong experience turning high-level strategies into clear, actionable execution plans.
- Confident presenter skilled in delivering strategic workshops, stakeholder interviews, and persuasive presentations to senior executives.
- Demonstrated versatility across diverse sectors (consumer, advocacy, health, technology), highlighting adaptability to varied strategic challenges.
- Experience with growth-stage, mission-driven, or transformation-focused brands is strongly preferred.
WORKING AT ORCHESTRA
Salary range: $155,000-$185,000
Location: This role is based in our New York, NY office on a hybrid basis, in-office 3 days per week.
