ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a talented Associate Director of Social Media to lead social media initiatives for the agency’s clients. This role will be responsible for creating, curating and/or sourcing and publishing original copy and visual content, scheduling content across platforms and daily community management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering social marketing results, with the ability to plan from scratch and drive ideas from conception to execution.
Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As an Associate Director of Social Media, you will:
- Lead client accounts as the primary point of contact, driving social media strategy, presenting recommendations, and ensuring alignment with brand and business goals
- Oversee the development of content calendars, creative concepts, and campaign timelines, ensuring high-quality execution and on-time delivery across platforms
- Direct content production and social activations as needed, including shoots, influencer partnerships, and creator strategies, to elevate storytelling and extend brand reach
- Manage day-to-day client communications, providing strategic guidance, performance insights, and recommendations for optimization
- Partner closely with PR teams, content creators, and designers to deliver integrated, cross-channel campaigns that strengthen brand narratives
- Guide reporting and analytics to evaluate performance, highlight key takeaways, and inform ongoing strategy
- Mentor and support junior staff, ensuring best-in-class execution and professional growth across the team
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of proven work experience in the field of social media
- Fluency in social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Proficiency using content planning and social media analytics tools (ex: Later, Sprout Social, Dash Hudson)
- Experience in Canva, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- An eye for detail and strong grasp of high-end brand aesthetics
- Has knowledge and passion for New York City real estate, hotels and architecture
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple clients
- Enjoys pop culture and staying in-the-know on current stories and happenings
- Does not have a fear of heights as they’ll regularly attend construction site tours

Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $90,00 - $100,000
