Delivery Lead

Title: Senior Technical Delivery Manager – Data Platform & Products

 

We are seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of the data platform and its data products, ensuring delivery is structured, predictable, and aligned across multiple teams and dependencies.

 

This role is responsible for driving execution, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring that delivery progresses against agreed scope and timelines.

Role Purpose

• Ensure successful delivery of the data platform and initial data products
• Bring structure, discipline, and predictability to delivery
• Act as the central point for coordination across squads, stakeholders, and dependencies

🔧 Key Responsibilities

 

Delivery Leadership

• Own and drive:
• Delivery plans
• Milestones
• Execution tracking
• Ensure delivery progresses against baselined scope
• Maintain clear visibility of:
• Status
• Risks
• Dependencies

RAID Management (Critical)

• Establish and maintain a robust RAID log
• Ensure:
• Risks are identified early
• Assumptions are documented
• Dependencies are actively managed
• Work closely with Product Manager and Leads to ensure:
• Open questions are translated into RAID items
• Nothing remains as untracked discussion

Dependency Management

• Manage cross-team dependencies, including:
• Data Governance (e.g. sample data requests)
• Source system teams
• EQCR product team
• Ensure dependencies are:
• Clearly defined
• Owned
• Tracked to resolution

Scope & Change Control

• Protect the baseline scope
• Ensure:
• Scope changes are controlled and agreed
• Enhancements are captured for future phases
• Prevent uncontrolled scope expansion during delivery

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with:
• Data Lead
• Product Manager
• Product Owner
• Engineering teams
• External teams (EQCR, DG, etc.)
• Provide clear, structured updates to stakeholders

Delivery Governance

• Run:
• Delivery forums
• Stand-ups / syncs (where appropriate)
• Ensure:
• Alignment across squads
• Decisions are documented
• Actions are tracked

Key Deliverables

• Delivery plan and roadmap
• RAID log (actively managed)
• Fortnightly delivery updates
• Dependency tracking
• Status reporting

• External product teams (EQCR) → consumer alignment

Experience Required

• years overall in delivery / programme management
• 5+ years’ experience delivering:
• data platforms, or
• complex technology programmes
• Experience managing:
• cross-team dependencies
• regulated environments
• Strong RAID and stakeholder management experience
