Director, Consumer Growth & Product Marketing

New York, New York, United States

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Director, Consumer Growth and Product Marketing to join our Marketing Team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role:

Lucie Health is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and customer-obsessed Director of Consumer Growth & Product Marketing to accelerate growth across Lucie Health and HealthInsurance.org (HIO.org). This leader will own consumer positioning, go-to-market strategy, and integrated marketing programs that drive awareness, acquisition, engagement, and enrollment. Partnering closely with product, technology, corporate strategy and sales teams, they will bring consumer offerings to market, optimize digital experiences, and turn consumer demand into revenue growth.

The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise in product marketing, consumer acquisition, performance marketing, and analytics. They bring strong commercial judgment and a track record of translating consumer insights into differentiated messaging and measurable business results in a fast-paced healthcare or consumer marketing environment.

What You’ll Do

Own Consumer Marketing Strategy & Growth

  • Define and lead the consumer marketing strategy across Lucie Health and HIO.org, spanning brand awareness, acquisition, engagement, enrollment, and retention.
  • Translate business goals into an integrated marketing roadmap, including priorities, investment plans, performance targets, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across consumer segments, channels, and journeys to drive sustainable acquisition and long-term customer value.
  • Partner with Product and Technology to shape the consumer experience, influence the product roadmap, and prioritize enhancements that improve adoption, conversion, and revenue.
  • Use consumer insights, analytics, and marketing performance data to inform product requirements, campaign strategy, and growth decisions.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize digital acquisition campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, events, and other channels, measuring performance against conversion, CAC, lead quality, and ROI.
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing, Creative, Operations, and external partners to develop and test messaging, creative, audience strategies, and event initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and support growth.
