Business Development Representative - Inside Sales

Are you a highly motivated Inside Sales BDR that can drive robust outreach sales activity to self-funded employers and health plans that improve the satisfaction, health outcomes and productivity of their members while reducing total cost of care?

We are seeking a BDR, Inside Sales to bring this innovative new care offering to self-funded employers, unions,  and health plan customers across the US. This role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer  and work closely with the Commercial, B2B Marketing, and Leadership Team to build the business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Generate market awareness and interest: Partner with our Sales Enablement Manager and Sales Executives to position Oshi Health as a market leader in the digital clinic and telehealth market through outreach to key prospects and partners.  
  • Drive high-volume targeted outreach initiatives: Identify relevant commercial organization targets of employers, unions, and payers.  Utilize multiple channels of outreach including phone calls and emails.  
  • Target appropriate benefits and health plan leaders: Conduct robust outreach decision makers including plan sponsors, Benefits Directors, VPs of Benefits, Union Fund Administrators, Product and Network Leadership, and Medical Directors.  
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure 
  • Achieve quarterly activity & success metrics.

Results you will drive:

  • Robust and continuously growing sales pipeline
  • Qualifying, following-up and tracking sales leads
  • Maintain accurate and frequent customer information within internal database systems like Salesforce, Slack, and Docs
  • Brand awareness across the healthcare industry and ecosystem

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Track record of developing new business opportunities to self-funded employers and payers, preferably with past experience selling tech-enabled healthcare services that improve outcomes and lower cost
  • Deep understanding of the motivations and buying dynamics within employers, as well as how to engage key ecosystem partners (e.g., benefit consultants, care navigation companies, etc.)
  • Proven self-starter that can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, is comfortable with ambiguity and has a passion for challenging the status quo in healthcare 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with comfort selling to C-suite and executive decision makers at health plans and employers
  • Operate with high integrity and accountability for results
  • 3-5+ years of inside sales experience

Compensation Range

$95,000 - $120,000 USD
