Senior Clinical Operations Analyst

The Team:
The Analytics team is a small but mighty team at Oshi, responsible for empowering the entire organization with actionable insights and tools to drive decisions that fuel sustainable growth and operational excellence. Our team is scrappy, analytical, highly strategic, and interacts with every part of the business to support business objectives. The team consists of talented analysts who are skilled in both doing hands-on data analysis as well as collaborating with other teams across the organization to develop KPIs and the analytics tooling necessary for insight generation.
The Role:
We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Clinical Operations Analyst to play a critical role in optimizing Oshi’s clinical practice. As a member of the Analytics team, this role will generate data-driven insights, build and maintain core data models and reporting, and enable business decisions, with a focus on clinical operations. Partnering closely with clinical team leadership, this role will use data to measure, analyze, and optimize our clinical practice to improve efficiency, quality, and provider satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
- Data-Driven Clinical & Operational Strategy: Bring a high level of analytical rigor to help us deeply understand all facets of our clinical operations and provider workflows. You'll conduct comprehensive analyses to identify key trends, measure the impact of our efforts, and uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and the overall quality of patient care.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization: You will design and maintain performance dashboards and build new analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the clinical team. This includes analyzing metrics related to provider utilization, patient outcomes, scheduling efficiency, and capacity planning. You will use these insights to pinpoint and eliminate bottlenecks in workflows, ultimately reducing administrative burden and streamlining operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will effectively communicate complex analyses with clear data visualization and compelling narratives to a range of clinical and non-clinical audiences. You'll serve as a critical partner to clinical leadership, providing insight into factors impacting practice performance and supporting strategic initiatives for workflow optimization and provider-facing tools.
Who You Are:
You have 3-5 years of experience in analytics, with at least 2 years in a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Technical Proficiency: You are proficient in using SQL and Excel to query, organize, and analyze data. You have experience with healthcare data systems (e.g. EHRs, scheduling platforms, and claims databases) and business intelligence tools (e.g. Metabase). Experience with statistical tools (e.g. R, Python) is a bonus.
- Analytical Mindset: You have strong problem-solving skills with a track record of using data to inform strategy and decision-making. You are adept at data visualization and storytelling techniques and can easily spot patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement. You thrive on using data to inform decisions.Clear Communicator: You possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Life-Long Learner: You are eager to learn new techniques and tools to drive your analyses to the next level. You are comfortable becoming proficient in new platforms and databases.
- You have a passion for Oshi Health’s mission and a strong desire to drive clinical and operational excellence.
- Telehealth experience is preferred.

We believe in offering competitive compensation that reflects your unique skills, experience, and qualifications. While the salary range provided outlines the potential earning scope for this role, final offers are tailored to each candidate's expertise, contributions, and alignment with internal equity among peers in similar roles. Oshi utilizes the entire compensation range, and we expect candidates offered positions with our company to fall widely throughout the range.

Compensation Range
$115,000 - $140,000 USD
