You will help us answer questions such as ‘How can we automate these repetitive actions?’, ‘How can we monitor business operations effectively?’, 'How can we use businesses' data to take action on behalf of them?’ and much more. As a member of our team, you will be part of the technical chapter of the Otter Enterprise team spread across the US and EMEA, and you will work on a variety of these topics and be exposed to various cutting-edge cloud tools and technologies to help us problem-solve. As an Automation specialist, you will be managing automation and data pipelines, monitoring their performance, and working on optimization. You work closely with the Operations and Product team to gather requirements, understand current product gaps, and build the solution from the ground up. We expect you to be autonomous in building technical documents with technical wireframes and solution architecture, but not limited to. Finally, you will contribute to our intellectual capital, our technology, and redefining Otter as the digital leader in the food tech space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Strategy - This person should be able to help me shape our automation strategy and solution and look for ways to optimze and unlock new opportunities
  • Technical Skills - Someone who is comfortable or has had experience working with various Cloud tools, technologies, and programming languages such as the Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Airflow, GitHub, Argo, Python, and AppsScript, but not limited to.
  • Development & Deployment - Someone who is autonomous and requires minimal supervision in developing and deploying automation solutions at scale.
  • Process and structure - We'll need someone who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, product management, and SDEs. Solid project management skills, stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Documentations - Someone who can create and own technical documentation for various types of stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as an Automation specialist, Analytics Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar roles
  • Education: BS in STEM disciplines, including Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, or Engineering.

Technical skills: Ability to code in Python and Javascript, but not limited to. Autonomous and requires minimal supervision in developing and deploying automation solutions.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and deliver actionable insights. Experience in developing metrics and KPIs for tracking performance.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex data and insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving, with a strong focus on first-principle thinking, data-driven solutions, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as an Automation specialist, Analytics Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar roles
  • Education: Advanced degrees or certifications in analytics or project management are a plus.

Technical skills: Ability to code in Python and Javascript and Fully Autonomous in developing, deploying, and maintaining automation solutions and data applications.
