Position Overview
We are seeking an Interim Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining our marketing and communication efforts across multiple departments, ensuring a seamless continuation of brand messaging, digital content creation, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative and organized professional with experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and project coordination. Additionally, this role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple platforms, and proficiency in reporting and data management. Candidates should have advanced Excel skills, including the ability to run, export, and manipulate data for reporting purposes. This position offers the possibility of a permanent role in the future.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Communications & Strategy
- Provide strategic consultation, planning, and execution of communication programs to support company objectives.
- Develop creative, results-oriented communication solutions that align with branding and messaging strategies.
- Oversee and maintain brand consistency across all communication channels, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines.
- Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, announcements, and public relations efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop short- and long-term communication objectives and select appropriate media vehicles.
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
- Write, edit, and publish content for various marketing channels, including blogs, newsletters, social media platforms, and websites.
- Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts and website content updates.
- Ensure new information is regularly added to all communication vehicles, including company websites and social media.
- Review and edit work submitted by external agencies and contractors for accuracy and brand consistency.
Social Media Management
- Develop, schedule, and monitor social media posts across platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Utilize Canva and other design tools to create visually appealing content.
- Track social media metrics and adjust strategies to enhance engagement and reach.
Event & Campaign Support
- Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns, events, and sponsorships.
- Coordinate the creation of promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and advertisements.
- Manage vendor relationships related to marketing collateral and printing needs.
Project Coordination & Administrative Support
- Plan and coordinate the production of marketing communications and sales promotion materials.
- Manage internal and external resources to maximize creativity, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Organize and maintain marketing assets, including photos, videos, and design files.
- Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Collate regular reporting for multiple locations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or project management.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and content development skills.
- Proficiency in social media management, SEO, and email marketing.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and website management (WordPress, HubSpot preferred).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including speech-writing.
- Creativity in content development and brand storytelling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google My Business, and CRM platforms such as Point Click Care, Sherpa, and HubSpot.
- Familiarity with the senior living or healthcare industry is a plus.
Position Details
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
