
Business Office Manager
Overview:
The Business Office Manager is responsible for the daily business office needs including payroll and other accounting functions.

Responsibilities:
Payroll/Benefits
- Complete payroll insuring timely and accurate completion.
- Code invoices and billing; reconcile benefits bills, as needed
Receivables and Payables
- Handles billing to private insurers, long term care insurance and insurance verifications.
- Meets with residents and families to assist with financial management, insurance questions and billing
- Assists residents with applying to Medicaid
- Handles Account Receivable collections
- Handles Account Payable vendor invoicing
- Manages resident needs personal accounts
- Manages all bank deposits and incoming monies
General
- Supervises business office partners
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends; help ensure compliance
- Maintains census, billing and resident records
- Record keeping for the Board of Directors
- Financial Reporting and maintain administrative budgets
- Performs any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum four year degree in Business or Accounting, or relevant experience
- Experience:
- Three to five years’ experience in a business office dealing with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Human Resources.
- Experience in a long-term care//nursing home environment.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
