
Clinical Scheduler / Central Supply Coordinator
Overview
Otterbein has an employment opportunity for a Fulltime Clinical Scheduler-Central Supply Coordinator. This individual is responsible for preparing and maintaining the working schedule for the nurses and nurse assistants to ensure regulatory compliance and Otterbein standards, as well as ensuring the nurses and aides have the supplies needed to appropriately care for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Completes and maintains the schedule for the Nurses, STNAs, and Resident Assistants to ensure regulatory compliance and Otterbein guidelines
- Assists with finding coverage to fill open Nurse, STNA, and Resident Assistant Shifts in the Nursing and Assisted Living Departments
- Work creatively and collaboratively with nurse leadership and direct care staff to minimize use of contract staff.
- Monitors status and quantity of medical supplies and other ancillary products maintained in community.
- Orders medical supplies and all ancillary products needed for the Nursing and Assisted Living departments.
- Maintains inventory and ensures supply rooms are stocked for clinical staff to retrieve items needed in the care of residents.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate required; Advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows. Previous experience in Scheduling and/or Central Supply is preferred. Additionally, certification as a STNA is also preferred.
