
Maintenance Transition Leader

This position is designed to serve as a Transition Maintenance Leader when a Maintenance Coordinator opening occurs at any Otterbein Small House Neighborhood location in Ohio. The Maintenance Transition Leader will ensure all maintenance responsibilities are completed and will assist with plans of correction and audits at assigned location. When an Interim role is not needed, then the Maintenance Leader will be assigned special projects by the Maintenance Director. At times the Maintenance Leader may serve as an Interim Maintenance Leader while also completing project work.
Travel: up to 100% depending on transition needs.
- Lodging provided if over 1 hour commute from home.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain all aspects of interior/exterior property maintenance at location
- Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, water heaters and water lines as needed
- Repair and replace light fixtures, outlets and minor electrical problems
- Repair and replace doors, woodwork, cabinetry
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances
- Coordinate all aspects of maintenance related room turns from start through finish
- Assist in executing location specific preventive maintenance plans
- Assist in life-safety audits and plan of correction
- Monitor and/or control maintenance inventory and supplies
- Maintain required paperwork and complete administrative tasks
- Develop expertise in the online Maintenance tracking and reporting systems (e.g. WorkHub)
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Licensure/Certification: Valid OH Driver’s License required
- Electrical, mechanical, or plumbing system certification a plus.
- Experience: minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance or a related field
- Experience in senior living environments a plus
- Experience with online maintenance tracking and reporting system, desired
- Experience with WorkHub a significant plus
