As part of our Strategy & Operations team, you'll help Oura shape the future of personal health. You’ll be a strategic force behind Oura’s next chapter of growth, working closely with our executive team to define and prioritize the company’s most critical opportunities. You’ll partner across functions to evolve our corporate strategy, sharpen focus on what matters most and turn vision into execution. This role is for bold, curious thinkers who thrive in ambiguity and love solving hard, high-impact problems. The ideal candidate will bring deep strategy or finance experience — ideally from health tech, consumer electronics, or CPG.
What you’ll do:
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor to leaders across Oura – framing and solving the most consequential questions about where we play and how we win.
- Partner with the executive team to sharpen Oura’s long-range plan and define the critical investments we must make to deliver it
- Find, size, and pressure-test new growth opportunities and rally teams around the ones that are worth pursuing
- Lead the design and testing of new business models and revenue streams that expand how Oura creates and captures value
- Guide Oura’s build/buy/partner decisions by identifying capability gaps and framing where investment makes the most sense
- Be a thought leader by staying ahead of the curve on trends in health, wellness, longevity and consumer tech; assess what they mean for Oura and how we move first
- Turn complex insights into clear, compelling stories that drive clarity, conviction, and action at the board and executive level
- Build simple, repeatable operating mechanisms that help Oura move faster, stay focused, and scale with clarity and discipline
This opportunity will be hybrid out of our San Francisco office.
We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- 12+ years of experience building strategies and influencing executive stakeholders
- A background in consulting, investment banking, or at high-growth consumer or health tech companies
- A track record of shaping company strategy and helping exec teams make big, high-impact calls
- Deep experience building models, frameworks, and business cases that lead to action, not just slides
- Sharp analytical skills — you can cut through noise and demonstrate a clear signal
- Outstanding communication skills — you make complex ideas simple and compelling for executives
- A bias for action — you’d rather test and learn than overthink and keep things moving when others stall
- The ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity with effective prioritization and out of the box, creative problem solving
- A low-ego, high-ownership mindset — you do what it takes, stay calm under pressure, and care more about outcomes than credit
- Curiosity and passion for health, technology, and Oura’s mission to help people better understand their bodies and reach their potential

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
San Francisco Compensation Range: $159,000 - $200,000
