At Oura, our mission is to empower every person to own their inner potential. With our award-winning Oura Ring and app, we help over 2.5 million people turn insights about sleep, activity, and readiness into healthier, more balanced lives. We believe that starts from within — by creating a culture where our team feels supported, included, and inspired to do their best work. Our values guide how we show up for each other and our community every day.
We have offices in San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.
As we continue to scale our presence in health tech and healthcare, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Events Manager to drive our Commercial events strategy across our core B2B verticals, including Healthcare, Human Performance, and Enterprise Sales. In this role, you will define and execute a comprehensive event program encompassing thought leadership conferences, summits, experiential activations, and bespoke engagements. You will own the end-to-end planning and execution of high-impact events that elevate the Oura Commercial brand, generate demand, and position Oura as a leader in the industry. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone eager to build and scale a best-in-class events function. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Creative, and Growth to ensure every touchpoint delivers measurable business outcomes and an exceptional brand experience.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, B2B Marketing for Content & Events and partners closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Healthcare, Marketing, Product, Science, and Sales.
What You Will Do:
Strategy, Leadership & Content
- Define and execute a unified events strategy that drives Oura’s Commercial, Enterprise Sales, Healthcare, and Human Performance objectives across events, focused on brand awareness and lead generation.
- Build and scale an internal events infrastructure that allows Oura to consistently show up with brand excellence and creativity across every touchpoint.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Creative, and Leadership on event content, narratives, and speaking engagements that elevate our presence and reinforce our thought leadership.
Experiential Events and Brand Moments
- Concept, produce, and execute immersive experiences that bring the Oura brand to life, from thought-leadership dinners and VIP wellness activations to hands-on product showcases and experiential brand-awareness events.
- Partner with internal teams to ideate and deliver events that engage, educate, and inspire clinicians, partners, brokers, executives, and strategic stakeholders.
- Ensure every event, from a multi-day healthcare conference to a targeted experience for 15 key decision-makers, is designed to resonate and deliver results.
End-to-End Execution
- Own the full lifecycle of event planning including budgeting, venue, vendor management, staffing, asset creation, day-of execution, and post-event analysis.
- Maintain detailed playbooks and standardize processes to ensure scalable, repeatable success across all types of events and activations.
- Partner with Sales and Demand Generation teams to drive pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns that generate leads, accelerate pipeline, and nurture prospects.
- Manage an external agency to support event execution and creative development, working independently or in close collaboration with the Senior Manager of B2B Marketing depending on the project scope and needs.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as the strategic lead across internal teams to ensure every event aligns with our business goals, brand messaging, and target audience needs.
- Build a network of collaborators across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Science to support pre-, during-, and post-event engagement.
- Establish a turn-key “events-in-box” solution that can be leveraged by colleagues for events that fall outside of the Commercial Marketing team’s scope.
Measurement and Optimization
- In collaboration with Commercial Marketing leaders, track and analyze event performance across key metrics (leads, MQLs, conversion, NPS, ROI).
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations to evolve our event strategy and maximize impact.
We would love to have you on the team if you have:
