Backend Software Engineer

Do you want hands-on access to the backend tech of some of the world’s most popular mobile games?

We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be able to help develop features and modules for Outfit7 games, as well as backend services that power high-scale, real-time systems. Every day, we work with games that thrill hundreds of millions of players worldwide, continuously improve our services, and deliver top-quality gaming experiences. In this role you will

• Design and develop backend functionalities for Outfit7 games and platforms.

• Build and optimize services that process high volumes of requests.

• Cooperate closely with other departments in the company.

• Work independently and efficiently as part of a team of backend developers.

• Constantly learn about and try new technologies.

What we’re looking for

• Proficient programming skills and knowledge of Java.

• Knowledge of Kotlin is a plus.

• Attention to detail, with a solution-focused mindset and approach.

• Positive, make-it-happen, lead-by-example attitude.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Your experience

• 2+ years of experience in backend development or a similar technical role.

• Experience building scalable, distributed systems or high-throughput APIs.

• Cloud experience (Google Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform) is a plus.

• Familiarity with good software engineering practices (code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, etc.).
