The Role
We are seeking a System and Integration Manager to drive and execute the technical strategy for solving complex system integration challenges for our autonomous vehicle. This role involves organizing autonomy software modules, managing runtime inference for neural networks, optimizing computational and memory resources, and orchestrating module messaging and software processing. You will be responsible for the overall performance and monitoring of the autonomy software system.
You will collaborate with a highly motivated engineering team and a leadership group that is intensely focused on product success.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will lead the system integration team within autonomy, and own its stack and strategy. You will have the opportunity to have huge impact:
- Help build a strong team and provide technical guidance
- Design and enhance tests, evaluations, field tests, and key tools for assessing software stack performance.
- Interface with the other autonomy consumers and upstream/downstream components, including data, deep learning and navigation
- Communicate progress & team needs to leadership and the board
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in modern C++ and Python
- Ability to iterate on complex systems: metrics, development, debugging, field testing, and triage
- Familiarity with best practices and recent advancements in the field
