Position Overview:

Outset is looking for a rockstar Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist. Someone who lives by the data, who loves to run experiments and who is always thinking about growth. If you love crafting a snappy subject line and believe optimization is a job that’s never done, we want to talk to you.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the execution, optimization, reporting and results of digital marketing efforts to support our marketing and sales goals. This role will focus on the execution and support of our email marketing programs, leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud's capabilities to drive customer engagement and achieve key marketing objectives.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution: Build, test, and deploy campaigns and journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, adhering to best practices and ensuring accuracy. Utilize your knowledge of marketing automation best practices to optimize campaign performance. Leverage Einstein and AI tools for smart segmentation, orchestration, and content.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Responsible for day-to-day management of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including data segmentation, list management, and automation tasks.
  • Content Development: Contribute to the creation and optimization of email templates and content, maintaining consistent branding and messaging.
  • List Management: Maintain and update customer lists, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on SFMC campaign performance, providing data analysis and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experiments and Testing: Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests. Setup and execution of A/B tests to optimize engagement and conversions.
  • Landing pages: Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience, including making minor updates directly and overseeing development for larger changes
  • Reporting & Analytics: Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ Years’ experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Deep understanding of all Salesforce Marketing Cloud builders including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Push, Automation Studio and Salesforce Marketing Cloud API’s.
  • Strong understanding of how Salesforce Marketing Cloud can ensure the martech stack helps segment marketers achieve KPIs.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of GA4 and other website analytics tools
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Must be a self-motivated, proactive person that, at the same time, is able to partner effectively and collaborate
  • Detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
  • Able to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; able to explain it to both business stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to effectively deal with unexpected assignments and changes to workload based on management priorities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate.
  • Ideal candidates will be able to think big picture, have experience with a variety of data sources and technology platforms, while simultaneously driving forward product and feature enhancements to benefit the marketing and sales teams.
  • Experience creating and curating reporting for stakeholders using Microsoft Office products (PPT, Excel, Word, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

  • SFMC Certification(s)
  • Experience with SEO for email development
  • Experience using Wrike (or similar platform) for Marketing project management
