Sr. Systems Engineer (4371)
Position location is on-site in Boulder, CO 5 days per week.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products, views, reports, and documents supporting the SOW and software development activities.
Including:
- System / Subsystem requirements
- Use cases
- Derived software requirements with traceability to System / Subsystem requirements
- Architecture and design structure and behavior
- Internal and External interfaces
- Test cases with traceability to requirements for verification Conduct or support technical reviews with prime integrator and customer such as
- Technical Interchange Meetings
- Critical Design Reviews
- Test Readiness Reviews Backlog identification and grooming.
- Ensure work products meet program requirements.
- Ensure development work products are aligned with the engineering baseline.
- Coordinate with engineering leadership, software engineers, test engineers and other members of the systems engineering team.
Required Skills & Experience
- This position will require the ability to obtain a U.S. government DoD Secret Security clearance. Interim or Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred. Due to the clearance requirement, U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate must also agree to participate in a background screen.
- On-site support in Boulder, CO 5 days per week.
- BS or advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or another relevant field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in a systems or software engineer position.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Cameo.
- Excellent organization skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience working on “badge-less” engineering teams on a large National security contracts.
- Domain experience with remote sensing systems or ground architectures, especially experience with OPIR sensor processing.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology. • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence.
- Experience with general tools such as Excel, MS Project, and Powerpoint.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$123,800 - $206,300 USD
