The Role
As Lead Product Designer for our Insurance products, you’ll play a key role in shaping intuitive user experiences that simplify complex workflows and deliver real value. You’ll own the design process end-to-end, from leading individual projects to creating scalable, reusable design standards that elevate our entire product ecosystem.
In addition to your hands-on work, you’ll mentor and support team members, helping them grow and succeed in a fast-paced, innovative environment. With a growth mindset, you’re eager to learn, experiment with new tools and techniques, and ask the right questions to uncover what truly drives product value.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion Overjet’s design principles and UX standards across the organization.
- Establish and maintain a design playbook, including a reusable UI component library and an organization-wide style guide.
- Develop tools and processes for UX testing to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with brand identity.
- Lead user research initiatives to inform and iterate on design solutions.
- Simplify complex dental insurance workflows into user-friendly experiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define problems and prototype innovative solutions.
- Inspire and support product teams to implement your UX vision efficiently.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end project work.
- Expertise in creating scalable design systems, including style guides and component libraries.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma for creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, competitor analysis, and user journey mapping.
- Proven ability to plan, conduct, and analyze usability testing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Experience driving organizational-level design consistency and standards.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and independently prioritize work to align with business goals.

Our Hybrid Workplace

Many of our positions are based in Palo Alto, New York City, Boston, and Lahore. The Jetsetters who live in these “geo-hubs” come to the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while having the option to work from home the rest of the week.
