Goodway Group and Overline is hiring a seasoned contractor to join our internal business operations team on a 6 to 12 month engagement, with potential for extension or permanent placement. We are undergoing a series of internal business process, organizational optimization, and change initiatives that are complex in nature, and broad in its reach across People, Process, Systems and Partners.

The successful candidate will bring over 10 years of hands-on project delivery, and global C-suite programme management. The candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to establish clear programmes of work that drives results and keeps the multiple business units, teams and partners aligned to the stakeholder vision.

A strong background within the application and adaptation of project management techniques from Prince2, SAFe AGILE and application of product development approaches is required to be successful and help establish how we drive success within our business.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual who can drive the timeline alongside project sponsors, is used to working across multiple business units and clients, has a track record of recovering projects through collaborative management, clear direction and establishing highly organized programme environments. Experience within fast paced business environments is essential; Global Marketing, Publishing, Media Agencies, Product and Technology experience is required to support our fast changing industry and business ambition, as we respond to market change at speed. You will be able to bring your knowledge and experience to enable the working environment, communication, and ultimately drive and define the necessary approaches to realize the business goals.

This means a proactive and focused approach on managing program foundations, while looking ahead to understand impact of actions, decisions and managing the successful resolution or escalation to the business.

 

Personal capabilities:

Required

· 5+ Years in a Programme Manager or Director role

· 10+ years of experience in snr project management or project director level roles

· Delivered multiple C-Suite initiatives across multiple business units and verticals as Programme Manager or Director

· Experience in setting up a programme and priority of delivery from ground zero

· Delivery of business change and transformation programmes

· Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, momentum and output

· Ability to establish a structured paced environment and inform business decisions

· Outstanding organizational skills

· Experienced in challenging, motivating and resolving issues within a structured format

· Engaging directly with clients and rallying internal and client-side teams to ensure clear planning and channels of communication are maintained.

· Hold a qualification in SAFe, AGILE, Scrum or Prince2.

· Excellent presentation & communication skills, able to tailor to your audience.

Desirable:

· Experience in coaching Agile and delivery practices to Leaders, and teams.

· Experienced with multiple delivery techniques, including SAFe, Prince2 Programme Management, AGILE DSDM, SCRUM and the successful tailoring of these techniques for organizations

· The use of Jira and Confluence or similar

· A good knowledge of MarTech technology and applications.

· Background in establishing resourcing plans, management and forecasting

Responsibilities:

· The effective management and coordination of the businesses programme of work

· The successful delivery, establishing prioritization of the multiple projects or workstreams

· The required business artifacts and measures of success

· The evaluation of the programmes health, roadmap and requirements for success.

· The creation of efficient and well managed project environments, from project backlog to close and analysis.

· Work closely with the C-Suite and business leadership team to manage, plan and define requirements, facilitate prioritization and align to the business transformation roadmap.

· Validation and management of timing plans for chosen initiatives and projects.

· The coordination and planning of clients and teams across geographies.

· Establishing the correct level of RAID management and ownership

· Capture, evaluate, and overcome project risks, and produce reports for management and key stakeholders.

· Identify and mitigate change impact - Support project teams in solution, resolution and escalation matters.

· Setting up and improving communication channels within a project.

· Capturing and distributed notes, actions & decisions.

· Development and ownership of project health related reports.

· Coach teams in best practice for Agile and scrum where applicable

· Building structure and rhythm within the programme of work
