Overstory Health is a newly launched startup building world-class, patient-centric Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs for individuals with high-acuity mental health needs. About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Group Therapist (Part-Time) to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional group therapy and support our mission to improve mental health outcomes. You will play a key role in guiding patients through their therapeutic journeys, fostering resilience and self-efficacy. Key Responsibilities
- Focus on Outcomes: Deliver evidence-based group therapy using practices such as DBT, CBT, and ACT to help patients build tools for long-term mental health.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with clinicians, case managers, and external providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Maintain comprehensive treatment plans, ensure accurate documentation, and adhere to HIPAA and all relevant compliance regulations.

Qualifications
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) actively licensed in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in higher levels of care, such as PHP, IOP, inpatient, psychiatric emergency rooms, or residential settings.
- Experience facilitating group therapy and confidence in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to build rapport with diverse populations, including Medicaid patients and individuals with complex social needs.
- Proficiency with technology platforms such as Slack, Zoom, and Electronic Health Records.

Position Details
- Part-time position (1099 or W2) with availability for 6-20 hours per week
- Must be available weekday evenings (Monday-Friday) to align with program schedules
