What You’ll Do

A channel account manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding relationships with resellers by :

  • Fostering  “one sales ecosystem” 
  • Setting and managing partner revenue targets and expectations by creating business plans with time-bound measurable metrics monitored on an ongoing basis 
  • Facilitating product training, demos, and webinars for channel partners
  • Generating additional demand through strategic partner enablement relevant to market trends
  • Ensuring that revenue generated by partners remains both steady and predictable
  • Coordinating resources for sales & tech support (use case best practices, product specs, white papers,  and testimonials), relevant programs and policies

Qualifications

We’re looking for a manager who is a proactive problem solver, entrepreneurial minded and analytically driven. You’re a well-rounded marketer who collaborates well across marketing and sales teams to get things done.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of sales experience.  
  • A track record of exceeding quota with a strong affinity for the daily, weekly and monthly wins that blaze the trail to do so.
  • The confidence and drive to grow relationships with new and established VARs.
  • A customer-centric and consultative sales approach, with ability to assist VARs and support their sales process.
  • Ability to efficiently prospect and qualify the "best fit" partners.
  • Excellent communication with strong interpersonal, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Understanding of financial and legal requirements associated with channel partner success. 
  • The desire to  exceed measurable performance goals.
  • Grit, muscle and a go-getter attitude. 
  • Strong customer empathy and deep commitment to customer success.
  • A “no job is too small” mentality.
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with peers who challenge you to be better.

Owl Labs is over 40% remote and headquarters are based in Boston, MA. This role can be either an on-site or remote position. Please specify in your application. Our team is currently working 100% remote due to COVID-19.
