In-Person Position

OXOS is searching for a Technical Solutions Engineer to join our high-growth company. You will join a dynamic team of passionate people who work daily to change how radiographic diagnostics are delivered. OXOS’ mission is to increase access and availability using the world’s first handheld Dynamic Digital Radiography devices. This position is a great opportunity for a highly technical and organized engineer interested in solving complex problems that entangle the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

To ensure successful customer outcomes, the goal of the Technical Solutions Engineer is to be an expert on how OXOS radiologic devices are used, leveraging their knowledge into areas of enhancing the functionality, serviceability, reliability, and integration capabilities of OXOS Medical product offerings. The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Become an expert on how current and future products operate at a technical level, resolving complex hardware or software issues and maintaining detailed records.
  • Enhance the customer experience by generating actionable learnings from performance metrics that allow for preventative service actions.
  • Assess device performance deficiencies and coordinate cross-functionally to reduce future deficiencies.
  • Provide documented and transferable solutions to resolving device downtime events.
  • Manage the deployment of new features and functionality to OXOS devices at customer sites.
  • Understand the interrelationships between imaging modalities and the healthcare IT infrastructure in order to present recommendations for what features both current and future OXOS product offerings should include to continue pushing the boundaries of radiologic diagnostics.
  • Confidently diagnose and resolve issues arising from OXOS systems’ integration into customer environments.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Networking and IT architecture.
  • Process and project management.
  • Familiarity with hardware and software systems.
  • Understanding of healthcare IT environments as related to digital image archival.
  • High-level technical and medical communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create big-picture systems-level solutions.
  • Ability to present ideas in a clean and user-friendly way.
