In-Person Position

OXOS is searching for a detail-oriented and adaptable Buyer / Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations for advanced X-ray equipment. This role bridges purchasing responsibilities with hands-on material handling, ensuring a seamless flow of components from procurement through production. The ideal candidate understands both the strategic side of buying and the operational importance of accurate material movement, storage, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing / Buyer Responsibilities (Approx. 50%):

  • Source and procure electronic, mechanical, and medical-grade components from approved vendors.
  • Manage purchase orders, lead times, and delivery schedules to support production timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure part specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP system, including vendor information, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Track supplier performance and support cost reduction and supplier improvement initiatives.

Material Handling Responsibilities (Approx. 50%):

  • Receive and process incoming shipments of raw materials and parts.
  • Transport materials to appropriate workstations or storage locations within the facility.
  • Manage inventory transactions, labeling, and stocking in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Fulfill work orders and sales orders
  • Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory audits.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, materials coordination, and warehouse operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Familiarity with medical device or electronic component supply chains is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work on your feet as needed.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA, or other quality standards for medical devices is a plus.
