👩💻 The Role
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within +5 / -5 UTC.
We are expanding our GTM Operations function and are seeking a strategic, process-driven Senior Sales Operations Specialist to join our Sales Operations team, where you will optimize Sales and Post-Sales processes, enhancing productivity and scalability. In this role, you will refine Salesforce CRM and the sales tech stack, ensuring alignment with business goals and collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure smooth communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the design and implementation of efficient sales and post-sales processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Optimize Salesforce CRM and the broader sales tech stack, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure smooth alignment and communication.
- Create and maintain insightful reports and dashboards, ensuring visibility into key metrics and promoting good data hygiene.
- Assess and improve tools and workflows to support scalable growth and foster continuous improvement.
- Liaise with the sales enablement team to propose and support initiatives that boost team performance and align with company objectives.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, uncover insights, and recommend improvements to processes and strategy.
- Assist with the sales forecasting process and ensure accurate pipeline data to support informed decision-making.
- Facilitate seamless handoffs between sales and post-sales teams, improving the customer journey and experience.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for efficiency across the GTM team.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the sales and post-sales lifecycle.
Core Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales, or GTM operations, with demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and optimizing tools.
- In-depth understanding of the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to customer success.
- Experience in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards for key metrics.
- Experience with sales analytics and forecasting tools, using data to drive strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and common sales tech stacks, including experience in CRM optimization and tool integrations.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing efficient sales and post-sales processes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and time zones.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks based on business needs.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology environment is preferred.
