You’ll design beautiful, luxury homes while helping build the operational and financial structure that allows Pacaso’s design function to scale and generate new revenue.

You will partner closely with the Director of Supply Chain & Operations to evolve Pacaso’s design standards, workflows, product assortments, and new services, acting as both a creative leader and a strategic, business-focused contributor.

Luxury Design Execution & Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the design team, developing skills and leveraging individual strengths to deliver high-quality work.
  • Oversee the full design process, from concept to installation, to ensure every home meets Pacaso’s luxury standards while adhering to tight onboarding schedules.
  • Create compelling design narratives, palettes, and presentations that support Sales and elevate the owner experience.
  • Review and refine design deliverables, including concepts, FF&E specifications, and installation plans.
  • Maintain and evolve the Pacaso Design Standard, adapting to regional styles while ensuring brand consistency.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative culture focused on beauty, durability, and scalable design practices.

Budget Management & Procurement Strategy

  • Partner with Procurement and Accounting to ensure design decisions align with onboarding and refresh budgets.
  • Select products that balance luxury aesthetics with durability, warranty coverage, availability, and lifecycle cost.
  • Analyze cost drivers and propose solutions that optimize margins without compromising the owner experience.
  • Support development of scalable FF&E assortments, shoppable inventory, and pre-approved product lines.

Revenue Growth & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Contribute to “Shoppable Home” programs and curated product assortments that drive revenue and operational efficiency.
  • Produce design assets that also serve as Sales and Marketing collateral.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through owner behavior analysis and market insights.
  • Partner with Supply Chain & Operations to build scalable processes, sourcing strategies, and regional design approaches.
  • Support global expansion through regional palette development and sourcing opportunities.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives across staffing, supply chain innovation, and new technology adoption.

Systems, Tools & Process Development

  • Help modernize design workflows by implementing dynamic, collaborative tools (Google Workspace, Salesforce, Houzz, etc.).
  • Use product performance and failure data to refine Pacaso’s design and sourcing standards.
  • Contribute to long-term design roadmaps that balance creativity with operational and financial discipline.

About You

  • 10+ years of interior design experience in luxury residential; hospitality or boutique commercial experience preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design, clear storytelling, and execution within budgets and timelines.
  • Experience leading or mentoring designers, with the ability to elevate team output and foster creative growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-velocity environment, delivering luxury results under strict deadlines while managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Skilled at designing independently while balancing budget, operational, and durability considerations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, cost management, lifecycle value, and ROI-driven decision making.
  • Comfortable partnering closely with accounting, procurement, operations, and cross-functional teams to align design with business goals.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate creative concepts into practical, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and able to influence across departments in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
