Finance Manager – FP&A & Strategy

Job Summary

The Finance Manager – FP&A & Strategy plays a key role in driving financial performance and strategic planning for Packard Culligan Water. This role is responsible for leading enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts, while partnering with senior leadership to support long-term growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, financial expertise, and collaborative leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes across all departments and regions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze company-wide financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership.

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the CFO and Director of Finance to shape financial strategy and support business planning.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Support M&A evaluations, capital planning, and long-term strategic initiatives.

Business Partnering & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with department heads and regional leaders to align financial plans with operational goals.
  • Provide financial support for cross-functional initiatives, including pricing, cost optimization, and growth strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering data-driven insights and strategic guidance.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and mentor financial analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports and analysis.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across finance and business teams.

Data Strategy & Process Improvement

  • Enhance financial reporting and business intelligence through data integration and automation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and financial best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic planning.
  • Experience in multi-location or service-based businesses is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on execution and results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide strategic planning and capital investment decisions.
  • Familiarity with the water conditioning or home services industry.
  • Certification in financial modeling, data analytics, or strategic finance.

Pay Range

$90,000 - $115,000 USD
