About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Events Marketing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our events team as it relates to scheduling, external partner communication for joint events and top-to-top executive meetings, and company offsite logistics. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Logistics Management:
- Plan and coordinate logistics for industry events, including conferences, trade shows, and workshops.
- Manage the trade show schedule, ensuring alignment with company goals and attendance at key events.
- Own onsite event coordination and day-of project management.
- Executive Support for Events:
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings for executives at tentpole events like CES, Groceryshop, Unboxed, Shoptalk, Cannes, etc.
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and reports.
- Company Offsite Meetings:
- Organize logistics for company-wide offsite meetings, including venue selection, catering, and materials preparation.
- Coordinate agendas and collaborate with leadership to ensure all objectives are met effectively.
- Facilitate communication regarding offsite meeting details to all employees involved.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare correspondence and communications on behalf of executives.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing or events coordinator role, preferably in a B2B tech environment.
- Proven experience in managing event logistics and coordinating industry events.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
