About the Role: 

The Sr. Procurement Manager develops and executes sourcing strategies for IT, managing the vendor lifecycle from strategic selection through contract governance and renewal. This role drives measurable cost savings, cash optimization, and process innovation by combining advanced negotiation skills, IT commercial expertise, and AI-enabled tools. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and lead vendor performance management across SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, telecom, and IT professional services. 

Responsibilities: 

Advanced Contract Negotiations & Vendor Governance 

  • Negotiate complex enterprise IT agreements (Microsoft, cloud providers, SaaS vendors) with focus on favorable renewal terms, volume discounts, true-ups, and payment optimization. 
  • Manage the complete contract lifecycle (intake, execution, renewal, termination) and establish/enforce SLAs, performance metrics, and compliance requirements. 
  • Conduct regular vendor reviews, escalate performance issues, and implement corrective actions; serve as primary point of contact for contractual matters. 
  • Analyze spend data and market intelligence using AI-enabled analytics to identify consolidation, cost savings, and TCO optimization opportunities. 

AI-Driven Sourcing & Process Innovation 

  • Leverage AI tools (Claude, CLM platforms, spend analytics) to accelerate contract review, support RFP development, and improve sourcing decisions. 
  • Lead workflow automation initiatives to reduce cycle time, scale procurement capability in lean teams, and drive continuous process improvements. 

Cross-Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Management 

  • Communicate category performance, deal recommendations, and sourcing outcomes to leadership; mentor junior procurement team members. 
  • Drive category strategy and financial performance by collaborating with Finance, IT, Legal, and business units to identify savings opportunities, establish benchmarks, and report cash impact against budget targets.  
  • Establish Execute on procurement governance by developing and socializing policies, processes, and controls across the organization, ensuring consistent adoption and compliance with organizational standards. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years in procurement/sourcing with 2+ years in IT and technology sourcing (SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecom, IT services). 
  • Proven track record negotiating complex enterprise IT agreements with major vendors and delivering quantified annual savings on multi-million-dollar portfolios. 
  • Demonstrated experience in category strategy, vendor governance, contract negotiation, and sourcing project management. 
  • Preferred: Mid-sized or fast-growth company experience with focus on cost control and working capital efficiency. 
  • Advanced negotiation and contract management skills 
  • Working knowledge of IT commercial models (SaaS licensing, cloud commitments, hardware lifecycle,IT services rate cards). 
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and procurement automation; comfort adopting emerging technologies. 
  • Excellent data analysis, financial modeling, and stakeholder communication skills. 
  • Self-starter with strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and ability to influence across Finance, Legal, IT, and executive teams. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to process innovation and standardization. 

Salary and Benefits: 

  • Competitive salary of $1,667–$1,970 USD per month with potential annual performance based increases
