About the Role
The Finance team is seeking a Capital Markets Reporting Analyst to join our growing team. This role is an integral part of a division that has successfully issued over $40B in Asset-Backed Securitization (ABS) transactions, and will focus on managing those securitizations and forward flows through their post-closing lifecycle.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the timely delivery of weekly and monthly investor reports across a diverse portfolio of financial vehicles, including traditional ABS, pass-throughs, revolving deals, and forward flows. This is a highly collaborative role requiring comfortable navigation of a fast-paced fintech environment, offering excellent exposure to executive management and opportunities to scale alongside a burgeoning global company.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with a strong interest or background in structured finance reporting, process optimization, and cross-functional operations.
Responsibilities
Investor Reporting & Deal Management
- Review and assist in the compilation of weekly and monthly investor reports within strict timeframes
- Manage ongoing trustee communication and partner reconciliations
- Assist the Capital Markets Deal Team in marketing and closing securitizations by summarizing loan-level data into comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Onboarding
- Partner closely with Partnerships, Treasury, Finance, Deployment, Risk, and the OCEO to support special projects impacting company-wide priorities
- Collaborate with Partnerships and the Capital Markets Deal Team to successfully onboard new partners and asset classes
Process Optimization & Operational Excellence
- Identify high-impact opportunities to streamline and automate reporting workflows utilizing AI tools to improve efficiency
- Develop new processes and enhance existing procedures to ensure scalability while generating and maintaining up-to-date documentation
- Analyze, resolve, and communicate complex operational issues and resolutions in a sound and timely manner
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience, or a highly demonstrated interest, in financial operations, accounting, trustee services, investor reporting, or treasury
- Proven exposure to asset-backed securitizations (ABS), forward flows, and/or structured finance preferred
- Advanced Excel knowledge is required, with a track record of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing assignments effectively
- Experience building or working with Python scripts and SQL queries, or a strong willingness and aptitude to learn them
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with sharp attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field
The pay ranges for New York-based hires are commensurate with candidate experience.
Pay ranges for candidates working in locations other than New York may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
Compensation Range for New York Based Hires
$90,000 - $125,000 USD
