Head of Product Marketing

San Francisco

WHO WE ARE

Pallet is building AI Agents to transform logistics, a $12T global industry. Backed by General Catalyst, Bessemer, and Bain Capital, we’ve raised $50M and achieved 700% revenue growth in under two years.

Our mission is to automate the manual workflows that slow logistics teams down — from scheduling to data entry and load management. Our flagship platform powers end-to-end operations, and our newest product, CoPallet, introduces AI Agents that execute real workflows in real time.

As logistics providers adopt generative AI, Pallet is leading the next wave of automation, with the vision to build the next $10B company in logistics. Join leaders from Google, DoorDash, and YC to shape the future of logistics tech.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Head of Product Marketing, you will define and own Pallet’s market narrative. You will set the positioning for our AI platform and agents, determine how we win across segments (carriers, 3PLs, shippers), and build the foundation for a world-class product marketing function.

This is a highly strategic leadership role reporting directly to executive leadership. You will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Growth to ensure we have sharp positioning, differentiated messaging, and disciplined go-to-market execution.

You will start as a hands-on leader and build the PMM team over time.

Success in this role means:

  • Pallet has a clear, opinionated narrative in the market
  • Sales wins because of sharp positioning and enablement
  • Product launches are orchestrated, strategic, and impactful
  • The PMM function becomes a force multiplier across the company

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Define Pallet’s category narrative in the age of AI Agents, developing differentiated positioning across segments and personas.
  • Translate product capabilities into clear buyer value and continuously refine messaging based on customer insight and competitive intelligence.
  • Own product launch strategy and execution driving segmentation, ICP refinement, and persona strategy.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to align messaging with pipeline strategy and establish disciplined launch processes and GTM operating cadence.
  • Build scalable enablement programs for new products and features creating messaging frameworks, battlecards, and objection handling.
  • Oversee website messaging, thought leadership, and case studies to shape executive narratives for speaking, PR, and industry presence.
  • Elevate Pallet as the category leader in AI-driven logistics automation
  • Hire and develop a high-performing PMM team and establish processes for research, messaging, launches, and competitive analysis
  • Define clear metrics for PMM impact on revenue and adoption and share with leadership teams.

YOU HAVE

  • 6–10+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, consulting, or adjacent strategy roles
  • Experience owning positioning in a complex B2B category (ideally vertical SaaS, infrastructure, or AI)
  • Proven ability to shape company-level narrative, not just product-level messaging
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional leaders
  • Deep customer curiosity — you learn from sales calls, customer interviews, and market research
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and setting direction from first principles

Bonus:

  • Experience launching AI or automation products
  • Experience building and scaling a PMM team

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
