Location
This is an in-office position, based at Palmetto headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Summary of Role
As an Executive Assistant at Palmetto, you will provide high-touch administrative support for executives on the Leadership Team. Your outstanding organizational skills and your ability to anticipate needs will play a key role in helping our leaders effectively accomplish company initiatives and key tasks. This role reports to the Chief of Staff.
Strategic & Tactical
- Enable the Leadership Team to be highly effective by providing administrative support spanning across multiple functions, in service of delivering the company’s most important goals
- Provide tailored administrative support based on executive needs, including calendar management, travel & expense management, and contributing to offsite planning, among other responsibilities
- Ensure executives are prepared and effective, which may include responsibilities such as inbox management, developing agendas, attending important meetings and taking notes, and other project-based work
- Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and follow through
- Effectively and consistently communicate with the Leadership Team on projects and executive calendars, and provide backup support to other executive assistants as needed
Qualifications
- Proactive and forward-looking with meticulous organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
- 5+ years of C-level support in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- High EQ, with the ability to handle frequent context switching and understand that each situation and person is unique. Able to use excellent judgment and clear communication skills to deliver on tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, and able to build relationships with stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external guests. Ability to ‘manage up’ to prioritize the executive’s time.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output
- Team player, with an action-oriented approach that is all about delivering the company’s goals
- Proficiency with Google Suite (G-Mail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Meet, Etc.), Zoom, Slack, and the ability to quickly learn other software and tools
