Summary of Role

As an App Growth Marketer at Palmetto, you will own the strategy and execution that multiplies mobile-app installs, activation —primarily through organic, product-led, and low-/no-cost tactics. You are a hands-on operator who prototypes fast, measures everything, and thrives on compounding 1-percent wins. Reporting to the GM of Palmetto’s Consumer Business Division, you’ll leverage AI and low-code tools to ship growth experiments in hours, not weeks.

Strategic and Tactical

  • Growth Strategy & Experimentation – Identify, prioritize, and run rapid A/B and multivariate tests across onboarding, in-app flows, paywalls, deep links, and virality loops.
  • Originate new users – Develop campaigns across channels to identify and target new users to drive app installs and growth.
  • Product-Led Loops – Design and launch referral, gamification, and community mechanics that turn engaged users into advocates.
  • App Store Optimization (ASO) – Own keyword research, creative assets, ratings/reviews programs, and in-app events to boost organic installs.
  • Lifecycle & CRM – Build trigger-based push, in-app, and email journeys that nudge users from first launch to daily habit.
  • AI & Automation – Use LLMs and no-code/low-code stacks (Zapier, Make, Webflow, Bubble, Airtable) to create content, personalize messaging, scrape data, and automate workflows.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Mining – Define KPIs, pull SQL/Python, analyze cohort and retention curves, and translate findings into next-step experiments.
  • Solo Stack Builder – Spin up landing pages, smart banners, or micro-tools yourself; unblock progress without waiting on engineering.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with product, design, engineering, and data teams to instrument events, ship growth hooks, and share learnings.
  • Documentation & Communication – Maintain a visible experiment backlog, concise test briefs, and clear retros that inform future bets.
  • Continuous Learning – Stay ahead of mobile growth trends, emerging platforms, and AI capabilities to keep Palmetto’s growth engine cutting-edge.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years driving mobile-app growth, product-led growth, or similar roles with proven wins in unpaid/organic channels.
  • Demonstrated success boosting activation, retention, and referral metrics through rapid experimentation.
  • Deep understanding of user psychology, social and gaming mechanics, and how to translate them into growth loops.
  • Proficiency with analytics & experimentation tools (GA4/Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Split, LaunchDarkly, Braze/Iterable).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
  • Hacker mentality – resourceful, curious, humble, and persistent; biased toward action in low-structure environments.
  • AI-native operator: daily user of LLMs for copy, ASO metadata, segmentation, and insight generation.
  • Technical aptitude: comfortable with SQL, basic Python/JavaScript, and setting up webhooks; able to build scrapers or small scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Zapier, Make, Webflow, Bubble, Airtable) to launch MVPs fast.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex data and strategy into crisp, persuasive narratives.
  • Bonus: Experience in subscription-based consumer apps, games and social apps.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
