Location: Remote

As a Growth Marketer at Palmetto, you will pioneer innovative and actionable strategies to rapidly accelerate user growth and sales through predominantly unpaid and organic channels. This is a hands-on role where you are driven by action and thrive in an environment that values swift execution, continuous experimentation, and measurable outcomes. Leveraging your expertise in marketing, growth strategies, and consumer behavior, you'll independently conceptualize, implement, and track growth initiatives, ensuring they deliver impactful real-world results. You will natively leverage AI, low-code/no-code platforms, and emerging tools to accomplish tasks efficiently with minimal resource dependencies. You thrive in a fast-paced, low-structure, outcomes-focused environment and can work collaboratively when needed to achieve the outcomes you are responsible for.

This role is essential as we expand our user base and deepen engagement through agile, experimental methods enhanced by cutting-edge technology. You will be key in finding creative, often unconventional, ways to move the needle on key growth metrics. You will report directly to the GM of Palmetto’s Consumer Business Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategy & Experimentation: Identify, prioritize, and design creative growth strategies and experiments focused primarily on unpaid channels. Develop strategies that go beyond the conventional to target the right users that tap into user behavior and unique data assets we can leverage.
  • Army of One: Hands on implementation of growth initiatives. This may involve building landing pages, setting up tracking and analytics, configuring marketing automation, crafting compelling copy, automating workflows, using low-code/no-code tools, or writing small scripts/code snippets to achieve specific outcomes.
  • AI & Tool Leverage: Natively utilize AI tools for tasks such as content creation, data analysis, trend identification, audience segmentation, and process automation. Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new tools (AI, low-code, analytics, etc.) to enhance growth velocity and efficiency.
  • Data Analysis & Iteration: Define, track, and analyze KPIs for all growth experiments. Interpret results, draw actionable insights, and rapidly iterate on strategies based on performance data. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Channel Exploration & Optimization: Continuously research and test new, potentially unconventional, unpaid channels and tactics to acquire and engage users. Optimize existing organic channels for maximum impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: While primarily operating independently, effectively collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, and sales teams as needed to align strategies, share insights, or implement initiatives requiring broader support.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in growth marketing, product lead growth, digital marketing, or a similar role with a proven track record of driving significant user growth and/or sales, preferably through organic/unpaid channels.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, running, and analyzing rapid tests and growth experiments.
  • Native AI Proficiency: Proven ability to integrate and utilize various AI tools (e.g., LLMs for content/copy, AI analytics tools, AI automation enhancers) effectively within a growth workflow.
  • Technical Aptitude:
    • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, Webflow, Airtable, Bubble) for automation and building MVPs.
    • Basic coding skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) sufficient to build small tools, automate tasks, scrape data, or make minor web modifications independently.
    • Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Looker).
  • Proven ability to ideate problem specifications channels that go beyond the standard Social/SEO channels.
  • Deep understanding of user behavior, social and gaming mechanics and growth channels and tactics.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven mindset, comfortable working with numbers to find insights and drive decisions.
  • Creative problem-solver with a "hacker mentality" – resourceful, curious, and persistent in finding solutions.
  • Excellent execution skills with a strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal structure, focusing on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate strategies, report results, and collaborate effectively when required.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the consumer or energy industries are preferred.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
